Food tray and party-tray planning guide
How to Order Food Trays
A Metro Manila Pickup and Delivery Checklist

Whether you are feeding family at a birthday or arranging lunch for a department, seminar or office meeting, the smoothest food-tray and party-tray orders begin with clear details.
Prepare seven details before you inquire
- Event date
- Meal time
- Guest count
- Preferred dishes
- Receiving location
- One coordinator
- Pickup or delivery plan

The Six-Step Food Tray and Party-Tray Ordering Process
To order food trays or Party Tray Sets smoothly, confirm your event and menu first, send complete details, review the quotation, arrange the correct transport and check the trays at handover.
Confirm the event and guest count
Start with the occasion, date, meal time, realistic headcount and receiving location.
Choose a Set or individual dishes
Build a balanced menu that suits your family, guests, employees and serving setup.
Send complete order details
Include dish sizes, quantities, address, access instructions and one main coordinator.
Review and confirm the quotation
Check the menu, prices, ready time, payment steps, billing details and transport responsibility.
Arrange pickup or delivery
Book transport only after the order and ready time are confirmed.
Receive and check the trays
Count every tray, inspect the packaging and compare the handover with the final quotation.
Step 1
Start with the Event, Not Only the Dishes
Your occasion, meal time, headcount and receiving location determine which dishes, tray sizes, quantities and transport arrangement are practical.
Confirm the occasion
Tell Jojie’s what you are planning so the menu and transport can be considered as part of the whole event.
Confirm the meal time
Your meal time is when guests or employees are expected to begin eating. It is different from the food ready time, courier pickup time, expected arrival and buffet setup time.
For a 12:00 PM office lunch, allow time for Metro Manila traffic, security, unloading, elevators, counting and arranging the trays.
Estimate the guest count
Include children, senior guests, hosts, drivers, speakers, facilitators, technical staff, employees from other departments and late-confirmed attendees.
For detailed quantity planning, use the Food Tray Quantity Guide.
Confirm the receiving location early
Prepare the complete address, building or subdivision, tower, floor, room, entrance, access instructions, receiving contact and mobile number.
Choose one order coordinator
One clear contact reduces conflicting instructions from family members, departments, purchasing teams and receiving staff. The coordinator should know the final menu, quotation, ready time, transport method and receiving plan.
Step 3
Send Jojie’s the Complete Order Details
A clear inquiry helps Jojie’s prepare a more accurate quotation and reduces unnecessary back-and-forth.

Avoid these common inquiry problems
The date alone is not enough to prepare a useful quotation.
Quantities cannot be planned realistically without an estimate.
A screenshot is not a complete order unless the chosen sizes are clear.
Wait until the ready time and pickup or delivery plan are confirmed.
Step 4
Review the Quotation Before Confirming
This is the best time to correct dish names, sizes, headcount assumptions, billing details, ready time and receiving instructions.
Check every dish and quantity
Review Sets, sizes, tray counts, per-piece items, substitutions, labels, current prices and whether rice or dining items are included.
Check the date and ready time
Make sure the ready time, meal time, pickup or delivery method and venue access window are clear.
Confirm who books and pays
The final arrangement should state whether the customer, a family or company driver, or Jojie’s driver will transport the order.
Send company details early
Verify the registered name, billing address, receipt requirements and internal approval process before confirmation.
Step 5
Coordinate the Ready Time and Transport
The ready time connects the kitchen schedule with the courier, driver and receiving contact. Confirm it before arranging transport.
A motorcycle may suit
- A small confirmed order
- Trays that can remain flat and secure
- A straightforward route
- Food that is not highly spill-sensitive
A car is usually safer
- Several wide or heavy trays
- Saucy or spill-sensitive dishes
- Multiple bags or boxes
- Longer travel, rain or a large event
Confirm the actual order with Jojie’s before choosing the vehicle. Keep every tray flat, stable and protected from heat and rain.
Step 6
Prepare the Receiving Location
A clear route, available contact and prepared serving table make it easier to check and carry the order without delays.
Home
Clear the serving table and walkway, prepare utensils and assign someone to help carry several trays.
Condominium
Confirm the tower, floor, lobby or loading area, security endorsement and service-elevator procedure.
Office building
Provide the company, tower, floor, meeting room, loading instructions, security process and an available receiver.
Gated village
Give the correct gate, homeowner authorization, street, landmark and guard instructions.
Church, school or community venue
Confirm the exact hall, entrance, opening time, unloading point, coordinator and buffet location.
When the courier arrives
Check the Order Before the Courier or Driver Leaves
A careful handover takes only a few minutes and prevents confusion after the vehicle has already left.
Check these items
- Order or company name
- Every tray, bag, box and per-piece item
- Dish names, sizes, labels and approved substitutions
- Lids, containers and visible packaging condition
- Sauces, add-ons, receipts and billing documents
Raise questions promptly while the courier or driver is present where possible. Photograph any visible damage or leakage before moving or opening the container.
Prepare the buffet before the food arrives
Give every tray enough level space and prepare one serving utensil per dish. Separate the main buffet, drinks, dessert, used plates and leftover containers when space allows.
For a more detailed setup plan, read the Food Tray Buffet Setup Guide.
If the headcount, schedule or venue changes
Send the revised details as early as possible. A different headcount, ready time, destination or transport method can affect quantities, kitchen preparation, courier booking, driver availability and building access.

Common questions
Food Tray Ordering FAQs
Send your inquiry as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, office Christmas parties and popular celebration dates. The practical lead time depends on the dishes, quantities and current kitchen schedule, so confirm availability directly with Jojie’s.
No. An inquiry starts the conversation but does not automatically confirm or reserve the order. Follow the quotation, payment and confirmation steps provided by Jojie’s before finalizing transport.
Jojie’s may provide delivery using its own driver, depending on the date, location, order size, required arrival time and driver availability. Customer-arranged courier pickup is often the preferred option.
Book the courier only after the order and ready time are confirmed. Booking too early may result in waiting charges, missed coordination or food arriving at the wrong time.
A motorcycle may suit a small order that can remain flat and secure during transport. Confirm the actual tray count and dishes with Jojie’s first; a short distance does not automatically make a motorcycle the safest choice.
A car is generally safer for several trays, wide or heavy containers, saucy dishes, multiple bags or boxes, longer journeys, poor weather and large family or corporate orders.
The courier should follow the confirmed ready time. Arriving too early may lead to waiting, additional charges, repeated calls or pressure on the preparation schedule.
Send the Jojie’s pickup address, confirmed ready time, order name or reference, pickup contact, customer contact, destination and the confirmed number of trays or bags.
Prepare the company and building name, tower and floor, meeting room or pantry, loading or lobby instructions, service-elevator procedure, security endorsement, receiving contact and billing details.
Send the revised headcount as early as possible. A small change may affect rice, noodles or supporting dishes; a larger change may require additional trays or a revised menu.
Provide the complete new address, access instructions, receiving contact, meal time and transport plan. A new building or venue may affect the vehicle choice and arrival allowance.
Check the order name, tray count, dish names, sizes, per-piece items, labels, sauces, add-ons, packaging condition and billing documents before the courier or driver leaves.
Do not assume they are included. Check the final quotation and prepare plates, cutlery, napkins and serving utensils unless Jojie’s has confirmed otherwise.
Yes, especially when the group can use a shared buffet and the venue has enough time and space for setup. Packed meals or a different service format may be more practical for very short meal breaks or individually assigned meals.
