Food Tray Ordering and Delivery Checklist for Metro Manila

A complete food tray order includes more than the dishes you want to serve. Jojie’s also needs the event date, guest count, delivery location, preferred arrival time and access details required to prepare and route the order properly.

Use this checklist when requesting your quotation, when reviewing the final order and again before delivery day. It will help you confirm the menu, quantities, logistics and serving arrangements in one practical plan.

Based on Jojie’s current ordering process Reviewed by the Jojie’s Catering Team Last reviewed July 20, 2026

Confirm the menu, guest count and delivery plan together

Start with the occasion, number of guests and preferred dishes. Then add the complete delivery address, actual meal time, receiving contact and any building, village or venue instructions that may affect arrival.

The clearer these details are, the easier it is for Jojie’s to review availability, serving quantities, preparation time and the applicable delivery arrangement. If the guest count or location changes, send the update before the order is finalized.

Order with complete context “Lunch for 25 guests in Makati, served at 12:00 p.m., with loading-bay access and a receiving contact on the 10th floor” is more useful than a dish list alone.

How to order food trays

Follow these four steps from menu selection to confirmation

Jojie’s offers ready-made sets for 10, 15 or 20 guests and à la carte trays that may be combined according to the occasion, guest count and budget.

Choose a set or build a menu

Begin with a ready-made set, house specialties or individual trays from the current Food Trays Manila menu.

Send the event details

Provide the date, occasion, guest count, location, preferred delivery time, budget and any special requests.

Let Jojie’s check the order

The team will review dish availability, serving sizes, preparation schedule and delivery requirements.

Review and finalize

Check the final quotation and follow the reservation or payment instructions provided for the order.

Important: Sending an inquiry does not reserve the date. The order is confirmed only after the menu, quotation, schedule and reservation instructions have been finalized with Jojie’s.

Before requesting the quotation

Gather the information needed to review the order properly

You do not need to know every dish before contacting Jojie’s, but the basic event and delivery details should be available.

  • Event date and occasion.
  • Actual meal or serving time.
  • Expected guest count.
  • Number of children, teenagers or adults when relevant.
  • Whether guests will eat at once or in separate batches.

Food tray delivery in Metro Manila

Give directions for the complete route—not only the street address

Delivery availability and charges depend on the complete address, order size, event date, requested time, traffic route, access requirements and available delivery capacity.

Delivery detail What to provide Why it matters
Complete location Street, barangay, city, building or subdivision name, unit, floor and nearby landmark. Similar building or street names can lead to delays when the address is incomplete.
Arrival time Preferred arrival time, actual meal time and any period when the venue cannot receive suppliers. The delivery plan must account for entry, unloading, checking the order and arranging the trays before serving.
Receiving contact One person’s name and reachable mobile number. The delivery team needs someone who can answer calls and direct the order to the final location.
Building access Security endorsement, visitor pass, loading bay, service entrance, elevator and trolley rules. Access procedures may add time between arrival at the property and delivery to the serving room.
Village or gated access Gate name, homeowner endorsement, vehicle instructions, pass requirements and directions from the entrance. Some villages have several gates or limit supplier access to specific entrances.
Parking and unloading Loading area, parking arrangement, possible fees and distance from the vehicle to the venue. Long walks, stairs and restricted unloading zones may affect the delivery schedule.
Final serving location Room name, floor, function area, office pantry or specific part of the home. The receiving contact can prepare the table and guide the trays directly to the correct area.
Delivery charge: Delivery is not included in the listed food prices. The applicable charge is confirmed according to the address, order size, requested schedule, access and availability.

Before confirming the order

Review the quotation line by line

The final quotation should match the menu and delivery arrangement you intend to use. Ask about anything that is unclear before following the reservation instructions.

Confirm the food order

  • Exact dish names and selected sizes.
  • Ready-made set size or number of à la carte trays.
  • Add-ons and per-piece quantities.
  • Rice, pasta, pancit and vegetable selections.
  • Approved substitutions, if any.
  • Current prices and order total.

Confirm the logistics

  • Event and delivery date.
  • Preferred arrival time or confirmed delivery window.
  • Complete address and receiving contact.
  • Delivery charge and applicable access considerations.
  • Plates, utensils, equipment or rentals included or excluded.
  • Reservation, payment and final-confirmation instructions.
All food items, serving sizes, prices, substitutions, preparation schedules and delivery arrangements remain subject to confirmation. Same-day or rush orders may be possible only when the requested menu, kitchen capacity and delivery schedule allow.

Before and during delivery

Use a simple three-stage delivery-day plan

The host or receiving contact should remain available until the order has arrived, been checked and placed in the prepared serving area.

The day before

Recheck the final details

  • Review the confirmed menu and quantities.
  • Recheck the address and receiving number.
  • Confirm that security or gate endorsements are ready.
  • Clear and prepare the serving table.
  • Prepare plates, utensils, tissue and drinks.
Before arrival

Keep the route and contact open

  • Keep the receiving phone nearby and audible.
  • Inform security or reception that a food delivery is expected.
  • Make sure the entrance and final room are accessible.
  • Remove unrelated items from the buffet table.
  • Assign another person if the main contact becomes unavailable.
When the courier arrives

Receive and check the order

  • Direct the trays to the prepared serving area.
  • Compare the delivered dishes with the confirmed order.
  • Check the number of trays and separately counted items.
  • Raise any immediate question while the details are easy to verify.
  • Arrange the food according to the planned serving flow.

Preparing the serving table

Keep the buffet organized and easy to use

You do not need an elaborate setup for delivered food trays. You do need a stable table, sufficient space, the correct serving utensils and a clear path that allows guests to move through the food without crossing back and forth.

Frequently asked questions

Food tray ordering and delivery questions

How early should I order food trays?

Contact Jojie’s ahead of the event, especially for weekends, holidays, larger orders and busy seasons. Required lead time depends on the menu, quantity, preparation schedule and delivery availability.

Does sending an inquiry reserve the date?

No. An inquiry allows the team to review your request. The order is confirmed only after the menu, quotation, schedule and reservation instructions have been finalized.

Is food tray delivery included in the listed price?

No. Delivery is quoted separately. The charge depends on the complete location, order size, requested schedule, route, access and available delivery capacity.

Can Jojie’s deliver anywhere in Metro Manila?

Delivery may be arranged across Metro Manila, but listing an area does not guarantee availability for every date or order. The complete address, route, schedule, order size and capacity must still be confirmed.

Can I request a same-day or rush food tray order?

A rush order may be possible when the selected dishes, kitchen capacity and delivery schedule allow. Contact Jojie’s as early as possible so the team can check what is available.

Are plates, utensils or serving equipment included?

Basic inclusions vary by order. Tell Jojie’s when you need plates, utensils, serving pieces, chafing dishes, tables or other equipment so the available add-ons or rental options can be confirmed.
